The winter that kept coming back to haunt me
This month the weather started out looking fantastic so I just had to get out on the water...
Never one to be put off by reality I shoved off into Denial ... ah... the Nip. (A pond in Bridgewater, MA)
The next weekend the weather held, so I took the tarp off the pocket cruiser (working name thus far either "Zombi" or "Dead Fish") and pulled off the companionway doors to replace the woodwork...
I wonder if there will be a sailing season this year.

Hey Zombi, I found your page off of Shorty Pen's sIte. I am a sailor based out of Cincinnati, OH and have been dealing with the winter blues myself. Fortunately it's been in the upper 70s this week! Hopefully some of it is heading your way!
I have been restoring a sailboat as well. I just took it out this week for its first sail of 07! Weather was great, water was freezing! You can check out the boat's progress at sailsurprise.blogspot.com
